Vita health and wellness initiative: vita health & wellness is a collaborative of multiple organizations committed to assisting residents of stamford's west side and surrounding neighborhoods in achieving good health and improved quality of life. Vita achieves this by activating various community service projects, sharing relevant information among members and jointly advocating for collective action. By doing so, vita helps build a community commitment to healthful living and to achieving the broader objectives embodied in the social determinants of health. Vita-sponsored programs directly impact hundreds of stamford residents.
