Mission

The mission of the downstream project is to protect watersheds by promoting awareness, alliance, and action through creative technology and communication. Downstream's vision is a broad-based community of passionate people connected to their local watersheds. The project focus is to increase awareness of environmental issues at the local and regional levels and how they cumulatively affect us globally. As the saying goes "we all live downstream." in the words of founder, george l. Ohrstrom, ii: "the hope is that people will educate themselves and stand up and become a voice for downstream issues because they are exceedingly important to all of us."
