The Downtown Deck Plaza Foundation (DDPF) was formed on September 16, 2024, as a Texas nonprofit corporation. It is a Type I supporting organization to the Paso del Norte Community Foundation that will develop, operate, maintain, and program a 8.5 acre park and plaza (Deck Plaza) over interstate 10 in the downtown corridor of El Paso, Texas, in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation, El Paso Metropolitan Planning Organization, County of El Paso, and City of El Paso. It will offer educational programs, green spaces, and recreational opportunities like biking and walking trails, along with other activities that support its exempt purposes.
