In 2024, DDIC remained a central place of worship and spiritual care for Denver's Muslim community, especially recent immigrants and refugees. We held weekly Jumu'ah prayers, hosted nightly Taraweeh and community iftars during Ramadan, and organized large Eid celebrations. Our team also provided informal spiritual counseling and began laying the groundwork for religious and cultural education programs. These offerings helped foster a strong sense of belonging and spiritual continuity for newcomers navigating life in a new country.
We disbursed 68 emergency financial assistance checks to support individuals and families facing urgent needs.
