The Downtown Marshall Association markets our town through: - Rack Cards (strategically placed throughout the region) - Walking Maps - Paid Advertising (News-Record & Sentinel and Madison County Visitors annual Visitors Guide) - Membership in Chambers (Madison County and Asheville) - Social Media boosts
In September of 2024, our town was flooded due to Hurricane Helene. The Downtown Marshall Association took a lead role in organizing the recovery meetings and partnered with many organizations that came in to help our town recover. A GoFundMe was set up to benefit the town businesses and residents affected by the hurricane. The DMA served as the administrator of those funds and distributed them to affected businesses in the area.
