Mission
The downtown state college improvement district is dedicated to creating and promoting downtown state college as a welcoming and vibrant destination for all. We develop community events, programs and initiatives; we advance physical imrpovements, creative placemaking and clean inviting streetscapes; we are a trusted resource for our constituents.
Programs

The cleaning ambassadors provide daily cleaning efforts and the removal of graffiti in high traffic, high visibility areas, for the convenience and comfort of shoppers and visitors.
The district works to promote retail, restaurant, rental and other business activity downtown. Also, it administers a state program to assist property owners with the cost of new signs and/or facades.
