Dress for success reno northern nevada (dfsrnn) is the local affiliate to dress for success worldwide, a global nonprofit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development otools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Professional women's group - along with the success of landing a new job, newly employed women often encounter an unfamiliar set of employment obstacles. From understanding corporate culture to managing personla finances, career novices are often left to navigate the unwritten rules of the workplace with little or no support. The professional women's group (pwg) bolsters the careers of successfully employed dress for success women by providing them with a network of support, practical information, and inspiration to remain employed so they can truley thrive. This program is administered through monthly dinner meetings in which a guest speaker presents a topic that will give these women tools to be successful both in theri job and life. In 2024, 15 women attended these meeting.
Career center - our career center provides women with services such as resume review, linkedin profiles and mock interview. Volunteers that specialize in human resources and recruiting work with these women to provide tools that help with landing a job. The career center is also a self-serve area for out clients that need use of a computer and /or printer.
Accepts donations of clothing for use in funding programs.
