Dtp Institute Inc

The mission of the DTP Institute, Inc. is to research, develop, implement, and support evidence-based culturally adaptive model programs that help girls and women develop dance-based body-trust and self-advocacy from puberty through post-menopause. It is the relationship among mental focus, imagery, movement, interoception, and expression that produces the valid sense of identity underlying body-trust and self-advocacy. Dance is the form of existence that has promoted this relationship for as long as humans have associated movement and gesture with meaning.
