The primary exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3) by dulce upfront labs are arts and culture, event production, community engagement, education, multicultural and multigenerational collaboration, movement building and working with local, state and national partnerships.

Measure p operating - partnered with local schools, organizations, and businesses, we have expanded our reach and strengthened the local economy. Our long-term goal is to continue amplifying underrepresented voices, supporting artists achieving financial sustainability, and making fresno a recognized center for arts innovation.

Production is ongoing, we have successfully laid the foundation for a compelling and impactful documentary that will shed light on water access issues affecting fresno communities.

Measure p project - launched the dulce innovative center for the arts, a cultural hub dedicated to providing accesible, diverse, and high-impact arts programming in fresno. Hosted over fifty events, live performances, community gatherings, workshops, and hybrid digital experiences.

Artist disruptor grant - documentary. Water rights in the san joaquin valley documentary. Funded by the california arts council, the project is a 10-minute documentary focusing on water rights in the rural ares of the san joaquin valley. In collaboration with the community water center, the documentary will advocate for legislative change and highlight historical and ongoing struggles for water justice in the region. By capturing the stories of community activists who has fought for water rights, the film aims to promote awareness and inspire action. Currently, in development, the project involves students from fresno state university, who are gaining hands-on experience in documentary filmmaking. The completed documentary is expected to reach 400 viewers in 2024.
