Mission

The dupage health coalition works with partners to develop, improve and sustain health services for low income and high barrier dupage county residents, including individuals who are uninsured or otherwise at risk for difficulties accessing affordable, high quality health care. Major programs include (1) access dupage, coordinating comprehensive free or low cost health care for uninsured residents of dupage county, (2) silver access, an aca premium assistance program helping low income families purchase health insurance,(3) dupage dispensary of hope, a free generic pharmacy program for low income and uninsured individuals (4)health educators support dhc clients and the community through health and health promoting workshops and (5) client benefitting and medical debt navigation services provides dhc clients and other dupage county residents with assistance in enrolling in health services.

Provide financial assistance (in the form of insurance premium assistance payable directly to insurance providers) for low income dupage county residents eligible for aca marketplace plan enrollment. For the year ended june 30, 2025 there were 987 members enrolled in silver access.

Expenses: $956K

Provide donated medications to low income and uninsured dupage county residents. For the year ended june 30, 2025 843 prescriptions were provided for free, and 24,253 medications were provided at a highly subsidized discount rate through our access dupage pharmacy benefit.
