Mission
The mission of dfma is to support the preservation of the historic site, to be a catalyst for engaging, adventuresome programming and to be a good neighbor and a dynamic resource for the community.

Community engagement and mentorship - dfma engages graduate students and local youth to further connect with our community and expand our reach through our online presence and community partnerships. We engage museum and garden volunteers to educate through experiential learning. This program served 3,438 people.
Historic building conservation and collections care - the health of the historic structure is an important part of our mission. Dfma cares for the historic site, antique collection and half-acre park land. We also work with community partners to teach the care of the artifacts. This program served 6,761 people.
