The museum is intended to provide a national collection of farm toys. The museum is open to the public. There were 10,066 paid admissions to the museum in 2024.
The toy show is to promote the national farm toy museum. Collectors gather each year to display and sell their collections and tour the museum. There were 81 collectors at the 2024 summer toy show.
Dyersville industries, inc exists to promote the industrial expansion of the city of dyersville. There were 12 jobs added in 2024.in 2024, the organization also raised funds to build a new daycare facility.
