Early hearing detection and intervention (ehdi).programs to promote and implement universal newborn and early childhoodhearing screening in the state of arizona. Provide training for providers, implement t-ei sessions for childen 0-3 who are deaf or hard of hearing who are unable to access speciality providers. Provide training, loaner screening equipment for audiologists,speech pathologists, nurses and other health and human services professionals who perform screening, referral, follow up and education to their students, clients, and patients. Engage in the promotion and implementation of tele-health in support of the mch population and families. Engage in language acquisition, assist in coordinating partners, and work toward updating associated databases for children enrolled in el services into school.

Hear for kids - provide children in need with either loaner or permenent hearing aids and offer vouchers to obtain hearing and medical evaluations. Collect hearing aids that are no longer being used. Supply refurbished or new aids to an eligible person using a network of audiologists.
