East Cooper Outboard Motor Club

Meeting and social expenses to serve the interests of boat owners and promote the safe use of boating and conservation of our natural resources. The East Cooper Outboard Motor Club has monthly meetings where we meet with the local Charities that we donate money to. This gives the local charities a forum to discuss what there organization will do with the proceeds to discuss upcoming projects and generally keep the members informed. These meeting are critical in making sure our donations are used wisely. The meeting also allows for marine biologists and conservationists the opportunity to meet with over 100 boat owners and fisherman at each meeting.

The organization leases land from a 501c3 organization to conduct program-related activities in furtherance of its exempt purposes. The lease payment is for the use of the property where the organization's primary operations are conducted.
