Provide support and resources to the school for the benefit and educational growth of the children: during the fiscal year ended june 30, 2025, the pta supported the schools educational goals by funding essential operating costs not covered by the department of education budget. The pta purchased subscriptions for the schools website, gradebook system, and forms management platforms, and acquired classroom hardware and software, including 3d printers for a new maker space.the pta leased two copy machines and purchased a plotter printer for office use. It also provided classroom supplies, materials, and equipment across all core academic subjects and elective programs (including pe, art, dance, and spanish). Consultants were engaged to provide it and scheduling management services.funds were allocated to enrichment and mentoring programs for students, and cell phone pouches were purchased for every student to promote a phone-free learning environment. Develop working relationships between parents and staff, and encourage parent participation in school activities and governance: during the fiscal year ended june 30, 2025, the pta continued to support the schools educational community through a variety of staff appreciation, family engagement, and organizational activities. The pta hosted a welcome breakfast for teachers before the start of the school year and organized staff gatherings during the holiday season and after the last day of classes. In recognition of teacher appreciation week, the pta coordinated several initiatives to express gratitude for teachers and staff. To foster stronger connections between parents, teachers, and administrators, the pta sponsored a math night that allowed parents to explore the school curriculum with teachers in their classrooms, as well as yoga nights that encouraged community interaction and well-being. The pta also organized welcome breakfasts and social events for parents by grade level to strengthen community ties and encourage family involvement in school life. Monthly meetings of the pta executive board and general membership were held throughout the school year to discuss ongoing business, provide updates on school activities, and develop plans for future pta initiatives. External speakers were invited to present at general membership meetings on topics relevant to middle school parents, helping to inform and support the parent community. In addition, at each pta meeting, a report was delivered by the school leadership team to share progress on school matters and foster collaboration between parents and school administration.through these activities, the pta worked to enhance communication, build community engagement, support the schools staff, and promote parent participation in the educational environment.
