Artifacts and ExhibitionsThe collection of the East Tennessee Historical Society consists of more than 16,000 artifacts and provides a foundation for fulfilling ETHSs mission to preserve, interpret, and promote the history of East Tennessees 35 counties.

PublicationsETHS develops, prints, and distributes Tennessee Ancestors semiannually (document transcriptions, historical and genealogical articles), the Journal of East Tennessee History annually (scholarly magazine), and Newsline semiannually (information on ETHS and other regional organizations).
