Mission
The Organization is committed to commercial revitalization of the 21st St & S Garnett Road commercial corridor. As a Main Street America Affiliate, Tulsa Global District is part of a national network of more than 1,200 neighborhoods and communities who share both a commitment to creating high-quality places and to building stronger communities through preservation-based economic development. The Organization is also a participant in the Tulsa Planning Office's Destination Districts Program.
Programs

Community rental assistance: In 2023, the Organization launched a rental assistance pilot program to support antidisplacement efforts and rental assistance, in collaboration with El Centro. In FY2024, the program provided rental assistance to 26 East Tulsa households.
Hosting multicultural events that highlight the unique cultural identities within the Global District, and organizing festivals to celebrate the Asian American/Pacific Islander community, including art and cultural exhibitions throughout the area.
