Scholarships. EVWL awarded 38,000 in scholarships, including two 4-year scholarships. The scholarships are awarded based on financial need, community service, and academic performance to students attending Arizona universities and community colleges. Many single, working mothers rely on these funds to pursue their dreams of a college education. Our Anything is Possible Scholarships are awarded to female students who exhibit service to the community, participate in extracurricular activities, demonstrate financial need and have a minimum grade point average of 2.5. Our Trade Technology Scholarships are awarded to students pursing education in an accredited community college trade or technology certification program. Scholarships awarded through the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation are awarded to single mothers of any age who maintain a 2.8 GPA and demonstrate financial need. Our scholarship endowment at Arizona State University awarded additional scholarships. EVWL has given more than 317,300 in scholarships over the years. 8 volunteers provide 225 hours for the program.
