Personal attendant services helps seniors and people with physical disabilities to remain in their own homes, with attendant support for activities such as personal hygiene, when the absence of this might result in admission to a nursing facility. The individual receiving services is the employer of record and easter seals provides training and technical support for payroll, tax, and worker's compensation compliance. The attendant is often a trusted family member or friend, and the program is operated throughout the state of delaware. There were 3,606 program particpants and caregivers during the year.

Outpatient rehabilitation therapy programs utilize physical therapists,occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists who develop individualized treatment programs for persons with a variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses, including spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, parkinson's disease, musculoskeletal disorders and autism. The early intervention program serves children from birth to 3 years of age diagnosed with developmental delays or medical conditions. Individuals receive treatment from a team of professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and early childhood educators. Applied behavioral analysis focuses on improving specific behaviors,funcitonal communication, social skills, independent living skills, and adaptive learning skills. The program uses board certified behavior analysts and registered behavior technicians to provide assessment,treatment planning, parent education, and intervention to children with a medical diagnosis of autism as a compliment to the early intervention program. These services are typically provided in the child's home or daycare, but may also be offered at easter seals facilities located in each county. 1,816 people were served through this program.

Job training & employment program allows adults with intellectual disabilities to pursue individual or group employment. Easter seals works to find a competitive job match and provide coaching until daily support can be provided by the employer. Group employment allows people to work under ongoing supervision while performing contract work in community businesses. In both instances, easter seals' staff provides ongoing support for long-term job retention. 230 people were served through this program.

Recreation & respite program gives caregivers a break from the responsibilities of continuous care. The staff at camp fairlee is trained to offer care of persons with disabilities, with nurses and medical care available. Situated in chestertown, md, camp fairlee features a host of educational, social, and recreational activities. Respite is available for children ages 6 and older, through adulthood. 455 people were served through this program.

Community outreach provides services and resources for people with disabilities or aging conditions, and their caregivers. The program provides case management for participants and their caregivers to assist with benefits enrollment, determining care options and connecting with appropriate services. Other services include funding for respite care for persons with disabilities, assisting individuals with money management and providing access to low interest loans to purchase assistive technology equipment necessary to sustain employment or to live independently. 514 people were served through this program.
