Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association

The eastern intercollegiate wrestling association's purposes are: (i) to coordinate the efforts of accredited member institutions of higher education which minimally offer a bachelor's degree and share a commitment to promote the sport of amateur wrestling by competing at the highest levels of intercollegiate amateur wrestling; (ii) to organize, supervise, promote and maintain the membership annual intercollegiate wrestling tournament in compliance with national collegiate athletic association rules and regulations, which is the automatic qualifier for the ncaa wrestling championships; and (iii) strive to enhance the esteem and skills of member institutions in the sport of intercollegiate amateur wrestling.
