Eastern Shore Of Va Historical Society

To encourage and promote an interest in the study of the history of the eastern shore and the commonwealth of virginia; to carry on research and work of a historical character; to identify and preserve historic buildings, landmarks, and other objects and documents of historical value; to promote historical and educational projects that will aid in the development of the eastern shore of virginia; and to perform such other acts as consistent with the general purposes of a historical society.
