Colorado shines - the council supports child care programs in accessing and utilizing the resources available through the colorado shines rating & improvement system.

The maternal, infant, and early childhood home visiting program gives pregnant women and families, particularly those considered at-risk, necessary resources and skills to raise children who are physically, socially, and emotionally healthy and ready to learn.

With funding from the buell foundation, the council provides professional development stipends to local care providers for continuing education, as well as mini-grants for purchasing supplies.
