To provide an undergraduate, liberal arts education and lifelong programs within the context of a strong relationship with the presbyterian church.

Student services - provide services to students apart from instruction such as admissions, financial aid, student activities, athletics and more. Approximately 97% of entering eckerd college undergraduate students receive financial assistance as a result of the efforts of the financial aid office. The college's students have access to many services including the fitness center, the outdoor pool, men's and women's sports, student government, student media (radio, tv and newspaper) and registered student clubs and organizations. Auxiliary services - housing, food service and others. With 86 percent of students living in the residence halls, eckerd college offers residence halls that range from traditional rooms with a shared common area to apartment style suites.
