Adaptation Support: Sometimes you need a little help from an adaptation friend to meet your adaptation aspirations. The EcoAdapt team can provide you with customized guidance, tools, and advice that aligns with your existing goals and resources. Our Awareness to Action workshops embrace a learning while doing approach. Our trainings build local capacity while developing implementable strategies. The result is that you leave ready to take action and able to continue the work as the climate continues to change.
Climate Adaptation Knowledge Exchange (CAKE): Your online adaptation destination. CAKE is an innovative community resource for people working to manage the natural environment in the face of climate change. The CAKE website includes case studies of on-the-ground adaptation efforts, a library of useful resources to support adaptation action, a community forum with an expert advice column, a directory of individuals and organizations rich in adaptation knowledge, and a tools section full of useful online resources to help make adaptation happen.
Research & Innovation: Climate change adaptation is still an emerging field where practice and learning are happening simultaneously. EcoAdapt is expediting research to understand the state of the adaptation field and the effectiveness of adaptation actions (and processes), while innovating new approaches to adaptation.
