Empaths mobility mentoring services provide low-income women an opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and strategies necessary to achieve economic self-sufficiency. The mobility mentoring services programs ground their training in the five pillars of empaths bridge to self sufficiency(tm): family stability, well-being, education and training, financial management, and employment and career management. During fy24, we served approximately 391 individuals across our mobility mentoring programs. In the most intensive mobility program, 96% of participants who graduated from the program showed an increase to their income.

The economic mobility exchange is a membership-based network comprised of nonprofit organizations and government agencies learning together about empaths mobility mentoring model. Through training, webinars, technical assistance, and online resource portal, the network captures and shares back innovative ways in which members evolve and adapt the model and tools, sharing best practices to most efficiently support people in their journey to full economic self-sufficiency. In fy24, there were over 6,000 individuals trained by the economic mobility exchange. Since 2014, over 400,000 individuals have been served.

Empaths research department tracks participant data across five pillars of the bridge to self-sufficiency(tm): family stability well-being, education and training, financial management and employment and career management. Empaths advocacy department promotes public policy changes that help low income women achieve economic independence

The food services program at empath, provided meals to senior citizens in the greater boston area. In fy24, empath discontinued this program as it was not close to our main mission. While the program was active through the end of october 2023, empath served aproximately 30,000 meals to senior citizens in greater boston.
