THE MAJORITY OF OUR STUDENTS HAVE ONE OR MULTIPLE LEARNING DIFFERENCES AND NEARLY ALL OF THEM HAVE EXPERIENCED SEVERELY TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES WHILE THEY WERE ATTENDING SCHOOLS PRIOR TO ENROLLING AT THE EDISON SCHOOL. AS A RESULT, THESE STUDENTS STRUGGLE WITH APPROPRIATE SOCIAL INTERACTIONS SO IN ORDER TO TEACH THEM WE USE SEVERAL TOOLS. ADDING LEGO EDUCATION WITH LESSON PLANS AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WILL ADD ANOTHER TOOL USING A TOY THAT OUR STUDENTS ARE FAMILIAR WITH ALREADY. ALSO, THE ADDITION OF SOCIAL MEDIA EDUCATION WILL ALLOW US TO HELP THEM LEARN HOW TO UTILIZE SOCIAL MEDIA APPROPRIATELY.
