Education Foundation For Waxahachie Independent School District

Dual credit scholarships with navarro community college for wisd students. The students attend classes at the college and receive credits toward graduation for high school plus they get college level credit. This program allows the student to get a headstart on his/her college degree. Four students participated in the program during this fiscal year.

Two teachers were awarded scholarships to pursue national board certification. It is designed to develop, retain, and recognize accomplished teachers and to generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide.
