Mission
Educationworks engages youth by providing high quality educational programs that make the school day whole and reengage disconnected young adults to education and career readiness. Educationworks' programming comes together under a k-12+ continuum that follows an evidenced-based model of scaffolding college and career readiness into engaging, hands-on, steam- based out of school time programs and in-school supports the continuum emphasizes creative play-based programming in elementary school, career exposure and skill building in middle school, and workforce development and career pathway access in high school and beyond.

K-12 out of school time programs (ost) k-12 out of school operates in philadelphia and camden school districts and private schools for children in grades k-12 daily from 3-6 pm and on all half days. Offerings include project based learning structured activities to include science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (steam), art and music programs, literacy activities, structured recreation and cooperative programs.
Education leading to employment and career training (elect) education leading to employment and career training (elect) and elect fatherhood initiative (efi) help teen parents stay in school, gain economic independence and raise healthy children. Programing provided year-around has several components, to include: vocational careers and job readiness training; healthcare and nutrition education; academic tutoring, mentoring, and homework assistance; and child development and parenting skills.
In school programing (isp) recognizing that each child has unique needs, staff works directly with school and community leaders to design in-school programing to address school needs in one or more of the following areas: socialized recess, restorative action centers, accommodations for disruptive behavior, math and literacy tutoring and library support.
