Los cabos children's foundation (lccf) is committed to transforming the lives of children and adolescents in baja california sur. Their mission is to improve the health and well-being of children and youth in the region, and since 2002, has been a voice for families striving to improve their children's lives and transform their future. In 2024, the grant given to lccf was directed towards lccf's community attention program. The community attention program is specifically dedicated to expanding its support network and to increase awareness of public and private healthcare services available statewide. This initiative aims to bridge the gap to effective healthcare access. In 2024 this program benefitted 144 children and adolescents who received 245 services including diagnosis, testing, medical supplies, medical services, and transportation.
The el dorado foundation supported the el dorado foundation ac which helps people with physical disabilities and their families. This includes physical rehabilitation, medical expense assistance, and transportation assistance to treatments, logistical support and connections with other foundations. Estimated 2 people received physical rehabilitation support, estimated 10 people received medical expense support, and over 350 received transportation assistance and 5 people got placed into other foundation's programs to receive care. Los cabos does not have world class physical rehabilitation for children or adults. This program provided people the support they needed either through direct rehabilitation services or providing transportation to those services.
