To enhance the lives of clark county older adults by offering quality services that promote general well-being, independent living and socialization.
Programs

Mental health assessments and services for older adults provides assistance in preventing depression and isolation due to issues related to aging. We served 324 older adults through social recreation, gatekeeper, guardianship, outreach, telephone reassurance and friendlyvisiting. We collaborate with professionals from mental health services of clark co. To provide psychiatric care counseling, and refer clients to our agency for supervised recreation and socialization. This type of program has proven to be a non-threatening approach to getting older adults to access mental health services.
In-home services give support to older adults so they can live independently in our community. These services include 105,067 miles of transportation, providing in-home services to 314 clients, emergency assistance to 64 clients, caring services to 362 clients, also medicare assistance, and home repairs.
Education and socialization programs for older adults promote general well-being and independent living. Over 100,500 check ins and 5,000 clients participated in our programs, events, activities, classes, trips and tours. These programs are designed to encourage older adults to live active, involved and independent lives. Just over 5,000 members participated in more than 50 weekly programs, special events and educations opportunities. We coordinate and monitor over 200 volunteers who provided more than 53,569 hours of volunteer services to agencies and nonprofits in the county. We published 7 newsletters in addition to our e-newsletter and social media posts to keep our consumers informed on events.
