Mission
Study the history and current operations of electric railways, including main line railroads, subways, and light rail systems. Publish Headlights Magazine on an annual or semi-annual basis on the subject of electric railway history. Publish the ERA Bulletin on a monthly basis to report electric railway current events and historical studies. Meet 10 times per year to make presentations on electric railway history and current events. Operate inspection trips to electric railway facilities and museums. Operate one international trip every other year to extensively study electric railway operations in a foreign country.
