The organizations primary mission is to provide a broad array of educational, social and recreational services to address the needs of families in the city of somerville and surrounding communities.

After school - the association operates an after school program for ages 5 through 13 years old. The program provides an environment in which children's emotional, social, and physical needs are met and developed through a variety of enriching and recreational activities and positive role modeling - served 51 clients between july 2023 and june 2024.

Community program - the association operates a food pantry which served more than 3,600 households between july 2023 and june 2024.

Summer program - the summer program includes two summer day camp programs: camp everwood and city explorers. Camp everwood in sharon, ma, provides an enriching experience where children can expand their horizons through exploration and hands-on learning activities. Children are encouraged to make positive choices and engage in problem-solving and leadership-building activities. The city explorer program operates in somerville, ma, and provides an alternative to traditional summer camp to families reluctant to send their children to summer camp. Combined clients served totals 109 children during the 2023 summer period.
