Mission
Sad Girls Club is a non profit org committed to showing up to support the mental health of GenZ, millennial women and femmes with an emphasis on the BIPOC community. There are three pillars that stand at the forefront of our work. 1. To create in-person safe spaces that both nurture and build community for young women to know they are not alone, 2. Provide culturally relevant mental health resources to those who don't have access, 3. To remove the negative stigma integrated with mental health conversations.

Chat room: Sad Girls Club prioritizes increasing access for the BIPOC community to meet with culturally-competent therapists. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we launched an ongoing virtual group therapy series, called Chatroom. Chatroom sessions are 60-minutes long, and provide 10 individuals the opportunity to attend free group therapy with a licensed therapist. There are a minimum of four Chatroom sessions offered each week across U.S. timezones. In 2023, we held 288 Chatroom sessions 1,440 individuals completed 17,820 therapy minutes in total
Remedy is our 1:1 therapy grant scholarship program that covers the costs of one full year of therapy or 2 sessions/month to Sad Girls Club members.
