The emancipation avenue main street program creates and supports equitable economic development by revitalizing commerce, celebrating african american culture, and promoting creativity on the emancipation avenue corridor in houstons historic third ward community.

Conducted training classes for small business owners which included marketing/advertising, understanding your finances, importance of good credit, tax compliance, budgeting, accounting/bookkeeping, and writing a business plan.
