To change the conversation and practice of healing through strategic training and interventions at interpersonal, organizational, cultural, and environmental scales.

Programs

1 program

Educational farm: the educational farm teaches people how to manage farm plants and animals and reconnect with the land. The program serves as a space to learn together how to build the health of the soil and grow, prepare, and share foods that nourish our bodies. It supports the broader ecological restoration of the property, including creating habitats for native species and developing a closed-loop system to reuse resources and minimize waste. Through these efforts, participants learn lessons of impact and repair: what it takes to heal and return a system to a balanced relationship. The farm also provides opportunities for partnership with other local farmers to grow and process foods onsite. The program has already received a number of capital campaign contrbitutions for initial start up and continued running of the farm.
