Mission
The primary mission of Embracing Purpose Ministry is to advance the cause of Christianity by teaching women, including marginalized women, and women who are incarcerated, how to discover their unique God-given gifts, talents and Christ-centered Kingdom purposes and then how they can activate those gifts, talents, and purposes for the Kingdom of God by serving people in their local, state, regional and global communities. The primary resources used by Embracing Purpose Ministry are two study workbooks, i.e., "Embracing Purpose Self-Discovery Workbook" for free-world women and "Embracing Purpose On the Inside and Beyond" for incarcerated women. The primary methods used to teach these concepts are group classes taught by trained volunteers. These classes are either taught in-person or virtually via Zoom for free-world women. All classes for incarcerated women are taught in-person inside the incarceration facility.
