Mission
The Emergency Rent Coalition, Inc. [ERC] represents and advocates for the interests of those New Yorkers who are at risk of eviction from their homes. ERC assures adequate and qualitative services in both the public and private sectors in the field of eviction prevention; develops new initiatives to further address the issue of homelessness prevention; develops guidelines for practice in the field of eviction prevention and provides education and information on issues related to emergency rent assistance.
