The objective of the c4 program is to foster a space for a learning community for individuals in spokane to actualize policy-level work in the form of community advocacy/base-building, c4s, and political action committees (pacs). Eighteen grants to thirteen organizations were given in the current year to support the people & policy project.
Voter education and engagement grants activities include candidate endorsements and opposition, advocacy for specific legislation and policy positions, partisan voter guides, targeted get-out-the-vote campaigns, and coalition building and grassroots lobbying. Eight grants were given in the current year to organizations to support voter education and engagement.
Enhancing health care and related public policy discourse on a state and local level, with a lens of health equity. One grant to a political action committee in recognition of the pac commitment to addressing systemic inequities and injustice impacting underrepresented communities in the inland northwest.
