The rescue mission also operates a food distribution facility called the abundant harvest, which is located at 1028 whittier street in emporia, ks. The mission of the facility is to provide food to lower income and homeless individuals that are having difficulties affording the increasing cost of groceries. Most of the food distributed is donated from other organizations. The facility hands out food to the public on most weekdays and prepares hot meals that are handed out to the public several days a week
