To secure basic human needs and equal justice for every person in our state through coalition-building and advocacy.

Affordable Housing Coalition (AHC): The AHC continued to advance a tenant organizing program in Southwest Missouri. The tenant union in Springfield, MO now has nearly 100 card-carrying members, and there is a leadership group of tenants in Columbia preparing to launch a new tenant union in their city.

Food Security Coalition (FSC): The FSC spearheaded a campaign to encourage Missouri to opt-in to the new federal Summer EBT program. The program has been successfully enacted, and state match funds were secured for the first two years of the program.
