Mission
The Empowered Heart Inc., is a nonprofit educational organization, whose mission is to educate people, especially women, about strategies, tools, and techniques for self-defense, physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, and empowering them to make a positive impact in their communities. Self-defense for women and Empowered Heart Circles are programs that we offer to the community. Empowered Heart Circles are community gatherings for self-love, self-compassion, and self-care.

We offer Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Women Empowered Instruction at Certified Training Centers. Our Officers and volunteers are certified instructors of the Women Empowered Program. We connect women who want training with a Certified Training Center or with Gracie University. We sponsor women who want training and need financial assistance. We conducted 2 seminars and held over 72 classes, providing training to over 30 students.
The Empowered Hand is a program that provides safe handling and shooting education, especially for women, to help them develop confidence around guns. 9 people were trained.
