Special events to promote welfare of the encino communitythe chamber promotes special events to promote the welfare of the encino community, including the taste of encino, a street fair, in partnership with the california traditional music society; a teachers' awards event, honoring outstanding teachers in the encino community; the armand arabian awards luncheon, honoring outstanding public servants; a golf event and an evening of wine to promote contributions to member charities; and an installation event to honor outstanding services of members to the chamber.

Legislative advocacythe chamber is the voice for business. The board of directors actively works to provide a strong representation for the encino business community on local, regional and state issues. Some of the board members attend an annual conference in sacramento and meet with legislators and representatives from the governor's office. The chamber is an active participant in the united chambers of commerce, which is an umbrella organization of chambers of commerce in the san fernando valley with the mission to be the voice for business in the san fernando valley, and is a member of the california chamber of commerce and supports its pac. The chamber is a member of los angeles business federation, and the scacee and wacee chamber organizations.
