To support and promote the vision and goals of the synthetic biology community by providing the future vision for synthetic biology, bringing together industrial and scientific communities.

Ebrc offered summer internship program between us colleges/universities and participating companies and organizations. The program's goal was to better prepare tomorrow's leaders for careers outside academia and to enhance student's laboratory skills and understanding of applications.
Completed sponsored projects activities supporting topical areas in synthetic biology and engineering biology and that furthered building the synthetic biology community. Projects were funded by private and federal funding sources.
