Mission
The continuing mission of the Letterpress Depot is for education of the public about traditional arts of letterpress printing, typography, design, and all forms of book arts. To serve as a community resource with workshops, hands-on experience, exhibits, publications and demonstrations. As a living museum of related arts, we offer research and library resources on printing, typography, design, poetry and art, including historic and technical reference materials and equipment. We serve our members, school groups and individuals of the general public with education, literary and related activities to serve the public good. As rehabilitation of our historic depot building continues, we engage the public at other possible venues. We continue individual projects, information services, construction and planning, as well as maintenance and repair of equipment and organization of our museum collection.
