Programs
3 programs
4b. Arts & Culture Programs: Through our Arts and Culture Center and the Community Dance Troupe, seniors and families engaged in weekly cultural dance and music classes and participated in performances at community festivals such as the 2024 August Moon Festival and Lunar New Year Celebration. These activities fostered emotional wellness, cultural pride, and inter-generational connection.
4c. Community Outreach & Benefit Enrollment Services: We provided bilingual outreach and benefit-enrollment assistance to low-income seniors and families in Quincy, Boston, and Worcester. Through the Benefit Enrollment Center (BEC), volunteers helped over 800 units apply for MassHealth, SNAP, Medicare Savings, and local wellness resources. Outreach meals, translation, and transportation were provided to ensure accessibility.
4d. Additional Program - Volunteer Engagement and Community Partnerships: We recruited and trained community volunteers to support program delivery, outreach events, and health education classes. The organization partnered with local hospitals, cultural associations, and public agencies to expand community impact.
