The corporation is a trade association designed to increase the number of qualified environmental engineers in the private and public sectors, in order to address long-term environmental and construction needs throughout the united states, by providing a program for educational, mentoring and employment opportunities for selected students, to administer the program and to undertake such activities as the board of directors deems appropriate and necessary to meet the tax exempt and specific purposes of the corporation.
