Unfreeze Afghanistan is a coalition of US and Afghan women working to help unfreeze Afghan funds held overseas in US and European banks, the World Bank Afghan Reconstruction Trust Fund and the International Monetary Fund in order to ease the plight of the millions of Afghans who are facing the worst humanitarian crisis in the world in light of extreme poverty and the country's collapsing economy. We will do this educating the public about the humanitarian crisis to create more pressure for global leaders to act.
