The mission of the epilepsy foundation of georgia is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.

EFWorks Employment Services shifted documentation to online portal, partnered with EF FL to begin consulting on employment program, obtained two new interns through GSU rehabilitation counseling program and continued to serve individuals both locally in-person and virtually throughout the state.Numbers for the 23-24 FY:Total clients served: 87, 540 over lifetime of programTotal placements: 64, 387 over lifetime of programRetention rate: 100%Current participants: 23, 4 returning for accommodations/promotion considerationsTotal active business engagement: 83 employers/partnersKey business partners and placements: Delta, USPS, Walgreens, Dollar General

Expenses: $79K

Through AJs Law for Seizure Smart Schools we increased our programming efforts. In the 2023-2024 fiscal year 300 members of the community were trained from across the state. This includes school faculty and staff, bus drivers, school nurses, police officers, firefighters, emts as well as members of the community.$3,666 in funding was provided in medication assistance for 18 individuals. This number is drastically lower than typical years, thanks for the increase in patient assistance programs.
