Direct client services - in a typical year, efw holds three types of in person events that benefit our clients and the community. 1 support groups: these in person meetings are moderated by efw staff and allow members of the community to meet and build relationships around their shared epilepsy journeys. 2 kids' camp: for one week each year adolescents from across the state are able to come together at the lion's camp in rosholt, wisconsin and enjoy a "typical" summer camp experience that is often not possible because of their epilepsy under other conditions. 3 adult retreat: efw conducts a full weekend of activities for our adult clients to build a sense of community and fellowship with others. The efw staff builds the agenda and facilitates all of the activities during this fun-filled weekend.
Community services - in a typical calendar year, efw schieves over 300,000 individual intereactions or touches within the state of wisconsin via our website. Individuals througout wisconsin have 24/7 access to the latest medical and treatment information, safety andtraining materials as well as online seminars and educational offerings.
