Mission
Our mission at Epiphany Preschool is to develop the whole child using play and nature as our primary focus. We provide a secure and happy environment in which children ages 2-5 years old have the freedom to develop in a positive preschool experience.
Programs
3 programs
Camps: Epiphany Preschool offers a one week Spring Break camp as well as eight weeks of Summer Camp. Both Camps are offered to our preschool families as well as families from other schools and families unaffiliated with any preschool. We had 18 campers for Spring Break Camp this year and 66 campers during our Summer Camp Programs. Families were able to register for individual or multiple weeks of our 8 week Summer Camp ranging from one to eight weeks. In total we had 376 camper weeks in Summer Camp. Campers spent most of their days outside with access to indoor classrooms and bathrooms as needed. Our main goal during Summer Camp is to help children to develop Socially Emotionally Physically and Cognitively through our weekly themed activities as well as open-ended play.
Aftercare Program: Starting in late spring of 2025 Epiphany Preschool started an extended day program called the Aftercare Program. It is offered during the school year and also during summer camp. It allows parents to extend the day for their child from 3pm when the normal school day and camp day end until 5 pm. The same nature-based program is used during this program as during the school and camp programs. Parents may register their child for 4 or 5 days weekly or on a single day drop-in basis. Attendance varied from about 7 children to a dozen or more on some days.
Community Outreach: We were excited to offer seasonal festivals in order to draw in current families former families and the general community. Our events offered this year were Fall Fest and Lantern Walk. Each one of these events had at least 100 people in attendance and helped connect us with the community in Vienna as well as surrounding counties. Our goal with Community Building is to share our belief in Nature Connection being the best path to happy and healthy lives!
